I'm a quilting, sewing, crafting addict. I have two little girls who keep me very busy, but every free moment I have goes to my many crafting endeavors.
I sew, quilt, and crochet. Most of my time is spent making clothes and toys for my daughters, but my first crafting love was quilting.
My favorite fabrics are usually bold, and often graphic. I love Anna Maria Horner, her fabrics, her designs, her blog...I basically aspire to be her when I grow up.
For prints I love modern florals and geometrics.
Other collections/designers that have caught my eye: Joel Dewberry, Lizzy House, Amy Butler...
I absolutely love the gazillion and one TaDots out there in the world and would one day love to own a stash of every single one! Dots make me smile:)
Novelties - I don't use them often on projects for myself, but I love a good Japanese novelty for my kids. They are big fans of anything Heather Ross unicorn/princessy. But also enjoy I Spy projects.
I am not such a fan of muted or depressing colors. I also am not a huge fan of more county looking fabrics...I had way too much of that growing up:)
Fun fat quarters, exciting trims, and rulers in all shapes and sizes make me very happy:)
My other love is crochet...it's so warm and snuggly in the winter especially. I generally buy the super chunky, ultra-warm yarn, but would love to start trying out more art yarns. I'd love some special stitch markers and other crochet goodies.
