About Me

I love butterflies. I love Fairy's, I love the color red. I am a dedicated collie lover. I have a blk/wht sheltie named Mick, a blue merle full sized rough collie (lassie type) named Rhett Butler and another full sized rough collie, another blue merle named Herc. I have always had collies since childhood, they are the best for
children and other animals. I can't praise them enough. I am very fortunate to have them. They are such loyal, dedicated and loving collies. Very bright, quick to learn.

Favorite Crafts

I am a tole painter, an oil painter, a water colorist, and an acrylic painter. The secret is good brushes and good painting products.

I am also a quilter, a beader, and a gardener. I love the Amaryllis, you see at Easter and Christmas. I grow them in water, and in soil. The blooms on these are terrific.

I also am a jewelry maker, I love to work with turquoise. I have been successful in this venture, and I have made bracelets, necklaces, and earrings.

I am a new card maker, this is my new passion. I really enjoy this. I find it to be so rewarding. I mail these to service members, veterans, Share A Card, Ronald McDonald house, Loma Linda Medical University, City of Hope, Homeless Children, UCLA Medical University and any other person who could use a little cheer.

I also enjoy stained glass work. I have completed several windows, lamps, jewelry boxes, sun catchers. I like to design my own images. I find it so rewarding when I see my finished projects.

About Me

I do support many childrens organizations, Relay for Life, Bark for Life and people afflicted with cancer, and helping our senior citizens. I also support many animal organizations. I have donated many of my craft items for these causes, and have donated about 300 quilts to Ronald McDonald House, Paul Newman's Hole in the Wall Gang, St. Jude's Childrens Hospitals, and any other organization that needs my support.

I am a Chemo Angel, and I am currently angeling 3 young children who are suffering from cancer.

I love Dallas, Criminal Minds, CSI, Army Wives, Mad Men. Favorite flower: Amaryllis Favorite color: Red Favorite Disney Character: Tinkerbell Pets: Rough Collies (Lassie type) and Shelties. favorite drinks: I am a coffee and tea drinker. Either or, no decaf.

Wish list: Love rubber stamps especially fairy and butterfly stamps, phrases, ribbon and lace, Iris folding templates.

I love card making, new craft for me, but I truly enjoy it. Just getting started, but on my way!

Sorry to take so long to rate but the retreat was WONDERFUL but exhausting as well, and I had the second round of spinal injections and had our kiddos for two full days this week, the last full days we'll have since the younger will be in kindergarten. So I haven't been in my art room but once or twice to clear out email messages a bit! Happy weekend!

Response: yes that's what I did. The one on top was a copy of flowers I have painted for my charity cards. Cuz I do so many, I paint or color once, and reproduce from there. Saves me lots of time. Thks for the great rating. I love RED. Love and prayers, Sandra

Thanks so much for the Happy Pumpkin. I'm not sure when it got here since it's been pouring (8"+ since Thanksgiving Day). It stopped this morning so I could finally go out to the mailbox. You'll hear back from me soon.
