I'm a college student who recently picked up crafting as a creative outlet. I spend most of my time nannying and love finding crafts to do with my little ones.

I love LEGOs. A lot. I continually try to find new uses for everyday household items in new and interesting ways.

I enjoy all types of music, from pop to folk to jazz to classical, but more than anything I love musicals. My current obsession is Legally Blonde: The Musical. The songs are so peppy and upbeat. I love it. Some of my favorite artists include The Aquabats, Cake, John Mayer, Barcelona, Lady GaGa, ABBA, She and Him, and several SEVERAL others.

Goodness, I will read anything I can get my hands on. I just finished reading The Tao of Pooh, an interesting glimpse into Taoism using Winnie the Pooh as an example. I loved it and would recommend it to anyone. The books I've read and loved include Lolita, the Georgia Nicolson series, Yes Man, Friends Like These, Picture of Dorian Grey, I Love You Beth Cooper, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Catcher in the Rye, Naomi, Youth in Revolt, and my guilty pleasure, the Twilight series. I really like any and all epistolary novels. But my favorite type of book of all time is definitely the comic book. DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, anything. I love them. And I'm always ready to take any recommendations.

To make a list of my favorite crafts would be difficult. There's nothing I won't try or don't like. I really enjoy re purposing things and finding unique solutions to my crafting/organization problems. One of my recent favorites was using an accordion hanging mug holder to organize my jewelry and handbags. I love decoupage. I will glue something or anything to make it pretty. My newest venture in crafting is using a sewing machine. I normally hand stitch whatever needs it, but my sister is giving my some lessons and I'll be off and sewing beautiful dresses and shirts and pillows and everythings soon enough.
