I am the kind of person who loves everything ART. I'm not picky and I really appreciate effort above all :)
I am concerned about the environment and love things that are gently used and re useable :)
I enjoy creating cards with photographs I've taken.
I collect vintage wrapping paper and I enjoy making my own bows and tags to match. My friends can tell a present is from me because I always wrap the greeting card inside to keep the wrapped packing looking pristine!
I embroider by hand, I use traditional transfers as well as colouring pages to create one of a kind projects. I love Pinterest, it is such a goldmine for images!
I am currently working on a quilt called "Grandma's Garden" I'm making it in a patchwork style with each flower having the same centre and the petals of each has one colour in different patterns.I'm using 2 1/2 inch squares... this will be an ongoing project!
I drink tea and coffee, both plain and flavoured.
I like to use the front of old cards to craft with (eco friendly for sure!)
anything French (language or culture)
anything British... I'm drawn to anything Royal and I love the Beef Eaters and double decker buses as well as the red telephone booths
anything vintage
anything steampunk
old dictionary pages for decoupage
Maps or Postcards .. I'm looking for small maps or postcards for towns named MADISON, FLORENCE or CHARLOTTE
I love poetry, original or of your favourite author's I'd love to make a collection of handwritten poetry for a collage (hint a poem will definitely get you a heart)
flowers or floral patterns of any kind,
scrap booking items,
embroidery thread,(I actually have a friend who called it string.... we were shopping and he asked me if I need to get any more string....still laughing about that one!)
vintage lace, trims and ribbon,
cotton or cotton blend fabric
vintage wrapping paper,
skeleton keys,
buttons and beads,
re-useable grocery type bags (not plastic),
stickers (any kind including reward and Christmas... as a teacher I can use them all!)
anything cat,
anything groundhog/woodchuck/marmot,
anything bird,
anything panda,
blank cards,
writing paper,
pencils,
ephemera,
anything Chococat (Hello Kitty's friend),
anything homemade and artistic
I am Christian but am NOT opposed to getting religious items that are lovely or unique and can be spiritual or from other major religions, as well as non major ones WICCA and other polytheistic beliefs are welcome to my home. I am always interested in finding out about other cultures and ways of life :) I find religious verses uplifting.
I am not at all picky .....I do not expect extras in order to give a heart! I believe that if you put in an effort and are on time you deserve a heart. I love making my partner happy and it makes me happy when my swap partner has done the same! I rate based on effort and appreciate you taking time to check my profile THANKS :)
While I am open to anything you'd think I'd enjoy. I only prefer not to get anything heavily scented.
Thanks again for checking my profile and happy swapping !
