About Me

I started CraftLeftovers.com as a way to keep myself accountable to using up my leftover craft supplies, and now four years later, it’s a place for others to find patterns, resources, and inspiration to live their lives creatively too!

I currently live in Central Iowa and have fun riding my bike, reading, going to local indie shows, and teaching community art classes. I have 2 ferrets and 1 cat - my studio assistant Molly - and live with the love of my life and chief partner in mischief Jason.

Favorite Music

All sorts of stuff from Bach to It's True. Pretty much anything playing at the Ames Progressive at any given night :)

Favorite Crafts

Painting, then knitting, then sewing, then crocheting, then embroidery, then dyeing, then weaving. But not in that order. So hard to choose, I love them all :)

Favorite Television

Digging on Criminal Minds, Lost, and Hoarders lately.

Favorite Books

The Life of Pi, Slaughter House Five, too many to think of off the top of my head. I'll round this out later.

This means it has travelled for 3 months to get here! I wonder why it took so long. I have to say though a very big thank you for the wonderful 2 zines on weaving and binding, and I'm very sorry that you ended up sending twice!
