I've been into the arts for many years, over the last 5-6 years have been participating in hobby arts on the side: atc's, pc's, env's, etc. One way or another I'm always creating.
I've a pretty open ear with music...until it comes to rap, that just does not click with me....ok a couple/ few do, but not enough of them to consider rap a like of mine. The last few concerts I attended: Damien Rice, James Morrison, Paolo Nutini.
Hmmm, I haven't been on a reading jag for quite a while now...usually kicks in when we're locked in over the winter months. The first couple that come to mind are Kurt Vonnegut's "Galapagoes," and "Ishamel," by Daniel Quinn.
I dunno, I've never been one to watch a movie over and again, or purchase them. I do favor movies of general television tho. I dunno, right now all I can think of are the old classics, Citizen Cain, old Bogey and Cagney, etc. I really like arthouse and indi, stuffs like on IFC.
As mentioned above I don't really care for or tend to much general television. When my face is pointing at it I'm usually hunting for a movie on IFC or Bravo, then TNT or AMC. If there is nothing there for me then it's off to A&E, educational channels, ...or just being thankful for remote controls so I can watch a dozen thing at once, laugh.
I'm not really into crafts, rarely do I do what I'd call crafts. So I guess I'd have to say that my favorite craft is "Kraft" brand glue...as well as cheese.
In all when all is basically idle for me, meaning non-work stuffs, I spend my time in a juggling act of playing guitar, reading, or out learning and researching whatever on the net...ir idly toying with my computer and stuffs, addictive things, those boxes.
