I'm a 25-year old third-year law student. I've been a swap-botter since May 2006 -- most of my swaps occurred before the heart element was added around here :) I am a vegetarian (no animal products please) that loves her two kitties very much. I've lived in Hawaii, San Francisco, and New York City the last two years :)
I have no hard feelings if you re-swap anything that I sent that doesn't fit your taste (homemade or not). I hope that you won't mind if I do the same.
I dabble in a lot of different crafts ...
Paper crafts: including ATCs, collages, scrapbooking
Fabric crafts: including basic clothing sewing, purses, and especially quilts
Basic crocheting like hats, scarves, gloves, and blankets
• coffee • chocolate • pirates • gnomes • hawaiiana (or anything ocean/tropics for that matter) • cute skulls • hand puppets • cool fibers or beads for use on fatbook pages • things made out of felt • owls or sparrows or hummingbirds • vintage anything (1930s or Victorian) • Susan Branch anything • photography • scrapbook stickers • bright, modern colors • fabrics (esp Michael Miller, Robert Kaufman, etc.) • craft magazines • sewing -- clothing patterns (size 12) • sewing notions (like seam ripper, elastic, snaps, etc.) • blank notecards • ribbons • yarn (esp fuzzy heavy yarn) • old photographs (I prefer matte finish) • scrapbooking supplies (any kind but especially really pretty papers) • fairies and mermaids (anything mystical) • candles • the color pink, esp paired with browns and teals • strawberry shortcake, little mermaid, shera, ninja turtles, any 1980s icons • quilting • buttons • colored pens • sassy cats
• anything "country" like county cats, geese, etc. • tea • jewelry (my ears are pierced but I never remember to put it on) • religious iconography stuff • bathroom stuff (like shampoo, soaps, etc.; my parents work for a company that sells this stuff so I have an UNLIMITED supply) • candy (sugary kind or sour kind, but I do love chocolate) • kawaii • sponge bob square pants, dora explorer (all the new cartoons) • felting • neon colors • jewelry (except for charms) • things related to babies (as I have no children yet!) or dogs
• cat toys • rubber stamps • undies (size medium) • stuffed animals (homemade or not) • pretty papers or images • purses (and little zip up wrist purses especially) • mix cds (with indie rock music esp girl bands -- please no pop or country) • knitted (or store bought) socks • vegetarian recipes • moos (the photo cards called moos) • little dolls (handmade or bought) • homemade ATCs (esp fabric ones) • anything that from the "things I like" list
I am really not that picky -- have a look at my blog or wist for my personal style and I'm sure I'll love it :)
Here's a few other questions I found on other swap blogs as good things to tell swap partners :)
do you keep a journal/art sketch book? Yes, but I already have a lot. I'd only really like a book if it's really cute as I seriously have dozens.
do you have any pets? Yes. Two kittens that I adore MADLY.
do you have any kids? Nope.
do you have a portable CD player, mobile phone, or ipod? Yes, I have an iPhone, my boyfriend totally spoiled me.
do you need another random trinket box? not really, no.
do you need something to carry your knitting/sewing with you? Sure, I collect bags and purses like it's my job.
favorite animals? cats, owls, giraffes, and turtles (especially sea turtles)
favorite movies?
favorite tv shows? Friends, Freaks and Geeks, Firefly, Grey's Anatomy (not any more), Lost, 4400, Heroes, Private Practice (it's actually okay)
favorite books? TThe Giver, Age of Innocence, Catch-22, Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah, Stranger in a Strange Land, Hawaii (James Mitchner), Ishmael, Ender's Game, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Love in the Time of Cholera, The Time Traveler's Wife, Bridge to Terebithia, Life of Pi, Illusions
describe yourself in a sentence. I graduate law school in the spring but I'm nothing but conventional -- I'm an independent thinker and I love funky alternative things but I also have a soft spot for cute things (does a long sentence count?)

Hi! I was just wondering where you get those letters that you sent me. I really like them...and you sent the letters to spell Erin...but my daughter's name is spelled Eryn! It's not a big deal...I was just wondering where you got them! Thanks again for everything!
I love the block that you are doing with the xmas fabrics! So cute! Did you come up with that yourself or is it a pattern? I am so glad you can use what I sent!
