I am a 60-something wife and mom and grandmother. I love to crochet and do scrapbooking and cardmaking. And I love spending time with my 3 grandchildren.
I love telling the story with pictures. I tend to do basic pages with mostly pictures and journaling. And I love to make albums as gifts. Cardmaking is great too. I've also started my own small jewelry business and I sell at craft fairs. I love making beaded affirmation bracelets and zodiac inspired jewelry.
I love mysteries! My favorite author is Agatha Christie, and I also love James Patterson, John Sandford and Lisa Gardner.
My favorite TV shows are
ALL the FBI shows
Criminal Minds
East New York
The Rookie - I love Nathan Fillion
Jack Ryan
And I will forever watch reruns of Murder, She Wrote and Diagnosis Murder.
I love my music from the 60's and 70's. The Beatles (early music), Aerosmith, Bad Company, etc. But really I go from metal, to soft rock, to swing, to country and back. The only music I can't stand is that rap crap! And I'm not crazy about opera and classical either.
My husband was a chef and he still loves to cook so I love to eat! And because he loves to cook, I'm always on a diet! Love to try new low fat healthy recipes.
I am in the process of tracing my father's family from 1800's England. So interesting!
I have always loved crafting and creating. I started with potholders when I was a little girl and I've been making things ever since.
I'm not a Christian in the traditional sense of the word. I believe in God, but I'm more of a universalist. I enjoy reading and learning about other religions and have come to really appreciate many of them.
I don't really have too much that I don't like. But I'm not a big fan of kawaii. And I don't like or understand the appeal of ATC, matchboxes, inchies or any of those little things that would just get lost in my house. I think they're pretty and all, but they aren't my taste.
Because I like so many things, I thought a list would be better:
Anything with a cardinal on it (the bird not the team)
Scrabooking
Beads and stones
Old 70's TV shows
Low Fat Healthy Recipes
Notebooks
Angels
Anything from England
Live Well, Laugh Often, Love Much
Celtic Knots
Holistic healing hints and tips
I'm sure I'm forgetting tons of stuff, but as I remember more of what I like, I'll keep adding to the list.
