My name is Erica. I live in Alabama. I work in an office, so any kind of cute office supply is my favorite! :)
I have a super fun husband and we love to go to estate sales. We are currently furnishing our home with mid-century modern accessories and decor, so anything 1950s, I will adore.
On weekends, if you don't find us hunting estates, we're probably at community festivals, like BBQ cook-offs, Art Shows, and Craft Beer festivals.
I don't drink caffeine, so no coffee or tea please. But, if you send it, I could probably use it in a swap!
LOVE anything vintage, quotes, homemade comics, and tiny objects.
My favorite colors are vintage-y colors, like avocado and orange. I also like the combination of yellow and brown and turquoise and brown.
I especially like Vintage Mexicana or Southwestern things.
Cowboys and Catholic religious icons, too.
This one is a bit bizarre, but I like "silkies." "Silkies" are short pieces of satin fabric that you can either cut from a spool of satin ribbon, or oftentimes you'll find them used to attach tags with a safety pin to nicer brands of clothing. Think of journals and Bibles - the "bookmark" string ... yep, that's a silkie. Sometimes, silkies are a part of your clothing, etc. Anyway, I like these little ribbons because when I was a little girl, I would hold them in my pockets and rub them between my fingers when I was nervous. It still helps me relax to this day to have a satin ribbon and fold it over and over between my fingers. Definitely a nervous 'tic' but also calms me down. I used this often when I was on the debate team in school! I of course have lots of ribbon, but really the best silkies are found silkies - they come out of journals, around stuffed animals' necks, reservation books always have nice ones! For my birthday one year, my husband, who worked at a fine dining restaurant, cut out the bookmark from the (previous year's) reservation book and wrapped it around my card as a gift! How thoughtful!!!
ZINES! Love, love, love zines. Omg, love zines.

Things I watch with my husband: Modern Marvels, How It's Made, How Do They Do It, First 48
I love old classics, not really a fan of chick-lit (except the Sookie Stackhouse series ... I'm on #6), I like memoirs and humor, coffee table books, and indie publications
I have two cats that I love, so I like cat stuff. Cat toys, treat samples, cat postcards ... all cute! As for cat themed things, I prefer stylized cats to sweet, pastel cats.
I like these special Mexican themes: Loteria cards
Senoritas and flamenco dancers (pictures, postcards, ads)
