I'm Trish. I'm random. Not very conventional/normal/sane. Mother of 2 boys,aged 16 and 3- married for 19 yrs, but still not quite grown up :P

I'm a multi-media artist with a special passion for atc's, art-journals, and dolls! I love the queer and the quirky-Living Dead Dolls and skelanimals and art dolls of all breeds. I especially love repurposing old Barbies/dolls into works of art.

I love music! Everything fom Fall Out Boy to The Beatles to Avenged Sevenfold to Paolo Nutini to Mika to Panic! at the Disco to Rob Zombie.

I'm really not a country music fan- but there are a few exceptions (The Dixie Chicks rock ok?)

LOST, Trueblood,GLEE I don't watch a lot of tv but I'm pretty loyal to those. And in the past I have been a Joss Whedon fangirl. Lately I've been dismayed by the trend of remaking my childhood :( -I admit the new Battlestar Galactica is epic- but V? Why people,why?

So, so many- I'm a total biblophile. My hearts favorites are Charles de Lint, China Mieville, Jane Austen and soooo many more. I love Alice in Wonderland ( so far as to have my fav character-the caterpilar- tattooed) and Peter Pan. I collect beautiful children's picture books.

Like: Purple! Jewel tones, rich earth tones - not so much pastels. Butterflies, mermaids,fantasy critters, cats, dogs (esp dachsunds & chihuahua's), birds , and rodents (have had pet mice, hamsters gerbils and yes rats!-I love rats!) Spiders-esp Argiopes. Steampunk!, cyberpunk,dark fantasy,goth and punk, Queer culture, anything alternative ;) (of course, as much as I like the weird and dark - I'm also a hopelessly sappy romantic- just in my fairy tales the monster always gets the girl ! or [even better] the guy ;D)

Books, mix-tapes,postcards, tea,beads,bracelets!(I can never have enough bracelets :P),Sakura gel pens,old playing cards, trading cards,tarot cards, collage fodder (and really-nearly everything is collage fodder!) Stationery and writing pens, I'm an avid doll collector- a little bit of everything but my favorites are the unconventional, the offbeat . Creepy (like LDD's BeGoths,etc)handcrafted, original, with a special place in my heart for the mini's- if it's tiny and wee I want it :D

Dislike:Not too much-I'm really not picky but generally I don't care for the overly commercial/overly cute (not necessarily Kawaii- I love Hello Kitty - even tho I prefer Skelanimals or Hello Zombie!), or christian quotes/imagery.
