Recently retired (sorta) after 35+ years as geoscience teacher (middle school &university) and as an Education and Public Outreach professional. Last 15 years of my career were with the American Geophysical Union and as a contractor at Goddard Space Flight Center.

As a sorta retired person I have become active in Second LIfe (www.secondlife.com) creating online exhibits for NASA's return to the moon program.

My favorite activities besides hanging out with @geosteph include travel, visiting grandkids, and sailing on the Chesapeake bay in my boat.
