About me:

My name is Darcie and I live in Campbell River, BC (Vancouver Island).

I love reading, walking/hiking, the ocean, beach-combing, creating and travelling (although not far, either Vancouver Island, Okanagan & Kootenays)

I started creating and swapping ATC's in November 2014. I have participated in many trades on Facebook, Instagram and Swap-bot.

I have been mailing out ATC and postcard trades within a day or two once traded and have not had any problems with people receiving them. I appreciate an email or message to let me know that you received them though, as I do keep track and don't want you not to receive them, if you don't I will try and re-create and send again :) I also make sure that the cards are well protected with a hand-made envelope & plastic sleeve and try and put in some ephemera as well.

Since starting swapping ATC's and postcards I have been enjoying coming home to mail, rather than bills & junk mail ;) Although now I check out my junk mail more for things that I can use on my cards or for happy mail.

I look forward to learning new techniques and swapping with fellow creatives:-)

I am a DC and Marvel movie fan. I also enjoy watching other movies just not horror.

I quite enjoy creating anything mixed-media related & image transferring, and basically anything I can get my mind involved in and hands dirty.

I also enjoy photography, and am never without my camera. I use some of my photos when I do image transferring, which I quite enjoy creating and seeing them in other forms of art. Photos I normally take are wildlife, scenery (forest, river & ocean), cityscapes and people.

I like black & white/sepia photos & images, pop art, cats, the ocean, typography (both modern & vintage), quotes, mandalas, henna designs, Batman, Robin, Wolverine, Rogue, Wonder Woman, and other comic images.

I am not into frilly girlie things too much (ie. lace, ribbon, pastel colours, etc),or and religious sayings /images.
