My name is Leia... (Leah ony spelled different because my mother INSISTS on making my life difficult). I am from a small town in North Georgia where everyone knows me because my grandparent each owned a business and my daddy was the Chief for the local Sheriffs Office. I used to hate living here, because everyone knows almost everything about me, and if you live in a small town, then you know that everyone else ALWAYS knows what you're doing, even if YOU dont. I moved to Atlanta for about 3 years, but came back when I realized that small or not, there is nowhere else I would rather raise my kids.
I have 2 precious (most of the time) little girls. Emily Brooklynn was born on 04-03-2003 and Olivia Kaitlynn was born on 12-13-2005. I have never been so blessed in my life, and I dont ever want to know what life is like without them. I thank God for my kids everyday- I know that he gave them to me for a reason, and even though they test me in every way possible, I love them with conviction and I could never live without them.
I am married to the most wonderful man ever. His name is Travis and besides my kids, he is my life. He is my soul-mate, even though Ive spent a long time thinking they didnt exist. He is so good to me- much better than Im sure I deserve. We have been married since 05-07-2010, although we have been together a long time. I love him and I wouldnt trade him for anything.
I love anything vintage, like Barbie, Wizard of Oz, the pin up girls that say funny (but sarcastic) stuff. I also love cute post-its and stationary, pens that write really good, daisies, ANYTHING pink; I am a total girly girl, so anything glittery, sparkely, etc. If you make me something with my name spelled right, I will love you forever. Im a fool for WalMart gift cards ($5-$10), picture frames, jewelry, especially handmade, and purses. I love handmade stuff, like knitted or crocheted blankets- Im learning to crochet, but its not easy for someone with no attention span and almost no patients. I love Univeristy of Tennessee football... so anything Big Orange is awesome, I love crayola crayons, recipes that are kid tested and approved, and almost anything else you want to send me. Im like a kid in a candy store so if its something on this list, I will love it, I can almost guarantee it!
Football associated items that are NOT Tennessee. I hate to sound ungrateful, but Im from the South and we tend to take sports pretty serious- sending me something associated with UGA or UF will NOT rock my socks. I dont like ANYTHING grape. Not the flavor, scent, NOTHING. Im not a fan of recipes with beans or anything overly spicy... there are some other things, but I cant think of them all so I will update this as it comes to me.
I AM a newbie at this, although Im already signed up for 2 so I dont plan on being new for long. I take this seriously so if I sign up for something, I will do it or do it on time, unless there is a really good reason and in that event, I will definatley let you know. I would like to do personal pen pal swaps, or anything else you think I might be interested in- most of you probably know way more about this than me, so help me out please. If I do something that bothers me, please tell me so that I may correct it... I dont want to make any enemies.
I have alot of health issues, and Im due for some surgery soon, so anything to make me grin when my hubby brings in the mail would be great!
*stickers of any type... I LOVE stickers *anything from my "Rocks my socks" list *anything Miss Piggy from the Muppets *stationary *cute envies *any color of Sharpie-fine tip *scrapbooking paper (12x12 please) *unused postage stamps (I have 2 adopted soldiers and I send alot of letters) *anything you make me that you put your time, effort and heart into- I will love it I promise
I am sure I will add more soon- if you arent sure about something, just ask me :)
