10 March 2011 IMPORTANT - I got too "trigger"-happy and signed up for too many swaps at one point. Everything seemed so fun, but in the end it became my doom. I fell behind and then it got embarrassing, and instead of just doing the swaps I postponed and got embarrassed in a never-ending circle. I have not been online for over a year, longing to be part of swap-bot but too ashamed to even log on. Now I decide I should start acting mature and go back online. I owe for severeal swaps, but have contact the ones that are fabric postcard related to ask for their adresses. All addresses have been received and all owed swaps are on their way ;-) There is one swap that I will not be able to complete and that is the London experience swap, since the recipient has dropped out.
Edited on March 20: Yay - glad to see that swaps are arriving. It feels so good to be caught up, but now I am worried that mail will get lost. So if you have not received from me in a duly manner, please contact me because everything has been sent out.
I am a 44 year old mother of four children and one beautiful grandchild (born Jan 28, 2011) , although not all of them still live at home. Instead I do have eight cats, three rabbits, stick insects and hermit crabs living at my home. I am a widow and have found enjoyment in postcards and letter writing.
I like to take walks, but I enjoy sports like soccer, american football, hockey - as long as I can watch it.
Since I work at a library ... there are so many books and writers that I like. Some of them are: Janet Evanovich, Fannie Flagg, Michael Connolly, Jeffery Deaver, Charlaine Harris, Tracy Chevalier ... and a new-found author: Anthony Trollope
Scrapbooking, embroidery, card making, crochet, knitting ... You name it, I probably like it ;-)
Sports like hockey, soccer, american football, australian football. Bones, CSI, Biggest loser, Martha Stewart ...
I simply love to get mail. My favourite kind of postcards are those that show multi-views, something to do with authors and books, recipes ... but nothing in my mail box really disappoint me.
Oh - one thing. I really liked my pc's naked and written on. I have to take back the statement about disappointment. If I get a letter in an envelope that is not even written on - yes, then I get disappointed. If you don't know what to write - just letting me know what you read right now is ok. I also like it when you put the date on.

Hey, I see you have sent swaps since the Mail Art Envelopes No 2 swap so I'm just wondering why I haven't received a rating for the envelope I sent you.
Wanted to let you know that Postcard Love #1(International) Swap is starting its journey to your mailbox!
Please assign partners - I can only mail on weekends
Lol - You are my partner in my Moose PC Swap. =P <3
I would just like to say thank you for your belated rating for 10-1=9 Postcard Swap.
I think it is very honourable that you arer trying to get yourself back on track, and I hope you succeed in your wish. Best wishes for a happy and healthy 2010.
Hi, could you please rate your partners for the Snail Mail Penfriends #3 swap from back in September. Thanks :-)
Hi, I`m new to swap bot and wondering if you could tell me what you mean by that you like your post cards naked and written on. Does that just mean a regular post card without envelope and a message written on it
Thanks for your help!

Greetings from Indiana!
Can't say I'm a bit sports fan, but I played softball for many years when I was in school and I absolutely LOVE to play hockey!
Books, hmm. I'm reading/am meaning to read a lot of them, lol. Dracula, the Resident Evil series by S.D. Perry (a bit below the reading level I would normally choose, but apparently I'm on a zombie trend and I love the games), The Zombie Survival Guide, World War Z (I have heard that this is very good if you like literature about the undead, incidentally), Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, Of Love and Death (both by Patrick Suskind), and The Complete Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (one-volume edition of that series).
I seem to have issues leaving images as comments, so instead I'll send you a nice, safe link to a tasteful vintage Halloween card:
Thanks for participating in my swap, I hope you enjoyed yourself and maybe made some new contacts! :-) Have a great week!

Hi Hanna
Leave Me A Comment - Swap-bot Profile Swap from whinendine.....
We seem to have a lot in common. I am also a recent widow who loves mail. Postcards and penpals and making cards and much more. Check out my flickr site and see the cards I have made and some of the postcards I have received.
I have some great card making sites that I will send to you.
I also love to read. It takes me places I will never get to see. And Janet Evanovitch is one of my all time favorites. Just finished Fearless Fifteen and can't wait for 16. I love grandma Mazur. I can just see Sandra Bullock playing the part of Stephanie Plum. HA HA... Oh tyhe places you go in a book. HA HA. Morelli, Tank... HA HA..
Have a great week.
