I'm a student at UTA acquiring a German and Russian dual degree. I adore both languages as well as cultures. I intend to live abroad eventually for at least graduate studies. I enjoy reading about nihilism, meaninglessness, and absurdity; I also enjoy manipulating anagrams, planning things and being agenda-honed.
I love the surreal, absurd, safe-sex education, being straightforward, antique postcards and photographs,Cyrillic, languages, shock art, playing music (classical) on the piano!
Favorite themes in art/crafts: drab colors, somewhat-abused antiques, the former Soviet Union, Cyrillic (Slavic alphabet).
The only thing I can safely guarantee as being static in my life is never-ending existential turmoil.
Neutral Milk Hotel, Of Montreal, Marshmallow Coast, Tracy + the Plastics, Olivia Tremor Control, Bright Eyes, Summer Hymns, Dresden Dolls, Bikini Kill, Peaches, Decemberists, Chad Vangaalen
Knitting, crochet, collaging, writing, many things involving paper, yarn, and fabric in general.
Pink Flamingos, Secretary, 9 to 5, The Bad Seed, Elephant, Hackers, Funny Games, Rebecca, Frida, Monty Python and the Life of Brian, Monty Python "And Now For Something Completely Different!"
"Rebecca" by Daphne DuMaurier, Franz Kafka in general, oh... I live in my head primarily, but I haven't been reading much lately. This will be remedied.
