ABOUT ME: I am a nurse at Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland Oregon and have been for the past 25 years. I have a 22 yo son and a 20 yo daughter who is studying vocal education at the University of Puget Sound. I grew up a Navy brat so have lived LOTS of places and the Pacific Northwest is by far my favorite!

PETS: I have recently downsized with an empty nest and rescued 2 dogs: Jack ~ a 7 yo border collie/Australian shepherd mix and Chief ~ an 8 yo bloodhound shepherd mix. They are delightful and loving dogs and have made my house into a home. They rescued me as much as I rescued them!

BOOKS/ AUTHORS: Diana Gabaldon (Outlander Series), Nicholas Sparks, Nora Roberts, JK Rowling, Patricia Cornwell, Brene Brown, Dan Brown, Barbara Freethy, Debbie Macomber.

FAVORITE CRAFTS/HOBBIES: Scrapbooking, gardening, jam-making, meditation, reading, knitting & crocheting, walking/hiking, hanging with friends and my dogs.

FAVORITE TV SHOWS: Criminal Minds, Law & Order SVU, Parenthood, Top Chef, Gilmore Girls, CSI Miami, Grey's Anatomy, The Good Wife, Breaking Bad, Chicago Fire, Downton Abbey, NCIS, Rizzoli and Isles,

FAVORITE COLOR: It really depends on my mood. I do prefer bright and bold colors as opposed to pastels and neutrals. I love blue and yellow together.

FAVORITE PLACES: The coast/ocean. Oregon, California, Hawaii, Virginia, Maine, Honduras. I find the ocean rejuvenating and invigorating. I am an introvert by nature but can be outgoing and a lot of fun.

COLLECTIONS: As a recent downsizer, I am working very hard to minimize and declutter but I do still have a few things I collect. I love decks of cards from different places around the world. I also collect agates from the Oregon coast and seashells from other beaches. I love Love LOVE washi tape and scrapbooking supplies. **Unfortunately I am allergic to most scents but love candles and the mood they help create.

GUILTY PLEASURES: Candy Crush, Upwords, FreeCell, Spider Solitaire, Sudoku, Bookworm, Doors & Rooms.

SWAPS: If I need to send something a day or 2 late, I will always let you know. I keep a record of when I ship things so if you do not receive something from me please let me know and I will re-send. I will always rate. I also ask that if I send you a swap you rate it so at least I know you got it. I take this very seriously and am not a flake.

A FINAL NOTE: I am easy going and easy to please....a little thought and kindness make me smile. There is plenty of mean and harsh in the world so I try to be kind and gentle to those I come across...not always an easy task but I think it makes a difference.
