Please Note: For any food swaps I can't have anything with wheat/gluten, msg, strawberries or any fin fish (a lot of sauces and dressings use them as flavor enhancers).

I'm a single mom on a budget that loves anything crafty. If I don't already know how to do it I'll figure it out. I love dressing up the ordinary to make something new and fun. I'm big into embroidery, it's my favorite. It's followed closely by jewelry making, scrapbooking and card making. I want to learn to crochet, quilt and knit (more than scarves) :) I have an 8 year old son that is all boy and keeps me on my toes.

THINGS I REALLY LIKE: Beads, anything to do with embroidery, Ribbon, buttons, jewelry findings, old broken jewelry that can find a new purpose, I'm a rabid Box Tops for Education Collector (as long as they're not expired), New Stamps, Greeting cards (handmade and store bought), Star Wars, Campbells Labels for Education, Violins, sheet music, old maps, ladybugs and owls (since the passing of my Grammie 3 years ago they have become my little sign that she's still with me).

THINGS I REALLY DO NOT LIKE: Cigarette smoke smell, flakers, teacher reward stickers, puffy stickers, "trash" items and did I mention flakers? (hopefully the list doesn't need to get any longer then that!) :)

I live in Northern California where there are so many things to do and places to explore. We often take day trips (and lots of photos) of our adventures. My partners in crime are usually my son and my mother. We're kind of the three muskateers! We may end up at the beach one weekend and in the mountains playing in the snow the next. I love it here!

I only really follow a handful of shows since most of the time we're watching the Disney channel! lol I like Castle, Bones, Revenge, Once Upon a Time, Suburgatory, New Girl, Raising Hope and of course Doctor Who (I'm a big ol' Whovian) and I like a few others as well....

I really do love movies but have only really been able to freely watch animated ones for the last few years! That's parenthood! :)

I love cheesy movies.....what can I say. I love all the old B movie horror films (Evil Dead, Dead Alive, Army of Darkness is my fav) and cheesy comedy.I also like Disney, anything with Jason Statham, Serendipity, Princess Bride, Elf, and many many more! The old "Brat Pack" movies are a fave in this house too and pretty much anything Mike Meyers....like I said, the cheesier the better. :)

I'm getting big into card making....so fun!

I've got what I call "Crafters ADD" which means I just can't keep myself working on one project. My goal is to get that under control and only work on a few crafts at a time instead of a bunch!

We also will take any Box Tops for Education or Labels for Education that you don't need. We're trying to earn enough this year to buy the kids a new Lacrosse set for PE.
