I'm married, have one seven year old little boy and work in IT support. I work on PCs all day and come home to a Mac.
I love tea and tea paraphernalia. I love candles and cupcakes, subscribe to several magazines, including: Country Home, Country Living, Cottage Living, Simple Scrapbooks. I like to read fiction and self-help. I like flamingos and the whole 1930s, art deco scene, most things french, vintage anything, paper and scrapbook supplies (even though I'm still attempting to scrap), ribbons, charms, ephemera, buttons, beads! (especially beads). My favorite stores are Target, Michael's Arts & Craft, Anthropologie (mainly house stuff), Bath & Body Works (cannot have enough smelly stuff).
I've recently started a shop on etsy.com selling earrings, and am loving creating the packaging to go with it.
My little boy is nuts over trains and I've really begun appreciating them for the first time in my life.
If you're so inclined, you can read more at my blog.
My favorite is probably alternative, although I'd hazard to say my favorite band is UB40. Also like pop, downbeat, blues, reggae, world and many others, including swing/big band, lounge, etc. Not a big fan of country western, although there is some music in that genre that I DO like. I just say no to rap or hip-hop.
Comedies, usually, mysteries, frequently, and dramas, occasionally. I also like to watch for good decorating ideas and places to visit, like the house on "Something's Got to Give," Meg Ryan's shop on "You've Got Mail," and much of San Francisco in "So I Married An Axe Murderer." I following movies are notable too: "Parenthood," "Moonstruck," "When Harry Met Sally," "Baby Boom," "Amelie," "Steel Magnolias," "Thin Man" mysteries, "Poirot"...and many, many others.
Gilmore Girls, King Of Queens, (Mystery) Poirot, Golden Girls, Gilligan's Island, Numbers, Two and A Half Men, Starting Over!, My Name Is Earl, 90210, Melrose Place (whaddaya mean they're not on anymore?), Friends, Laverne & Shirley
