I'm a Pole living in Chicagoland with my husband and stepson. I also have a stepdaughter back in Poland, in college. And there is also the cat - Kicia, a beautiful long-hair orange/white/black creature. Favorite things in life - ah, there are so many... spending time with my family, travelling (the biggest family hobby), photography, paper in all possible incarnations, nature. My favorite motto is "bloom where you are planted" - sometimes it's impossible to change the circumstances but we still must strive to make the best of them!

It would be easier to say what I do not enjoy - metal, rap, stupid lyrics. I like going back a few decades :)

CSI (Grissom is da best!), Law & Order, HGTV (favorite - Carol Duval), some cooking shows (Alton Brown a favorite, and the original Iron Chef was good too), Discovery stuff, Travel... anything of the type "how's that made".

anything paper; ephemera; tiny little found objects; nature motifs, especially floral/garden/travel; i've experimented with other crafts as well - salt dough, crochet, knitting, sowing, painting, a little bit of beads and embroidery as well.

a tiny remark about dislikes - probably Hello Kitty (love cats, but somehow this one is not a favorite) and Japanese animation.
