Hello and thanks for stopping by to learn a little more about me!

I'm a HUGE comic book, sci-fi, and fantasy geek. I frequently attend comic book conventions and even dress up as some of my favorite comic book and movie characters at shows. I enjoy nature to the fullest and feel most at peace in the mountains, wandering along nature paths, or walking barefoot along the beach.

I'm married to a fun loving guy I met at a comic book show, who also happens to be a comic book artist! I have a teenage daughter who just graduated from high school, and I have a high energy black cat named Fuzzy Ninja.

I grew up in a tiny little village in NW Ohio, which was basically a one mile square located in the middle of a cornfield. I decided to spread my wings and migrated toward the big city of Pittsburgh after meeting my husband and I'm loving the change of scenery!

I dabble in short fiction writing, photography and many other forms of visual art. I collect statues, action figures and other various types of collectibles related to my favorite movies, tv shows and comic book characters. I also have a huge collection of artwork from various artists in the comic industry.

My favorite books of all time include The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, The Return of the King, The Hobbit and the Harry Potter series. Other favorite genres include fantasy, sci-fi, history, art and humor. I also have an extensive graphic novel and comic book collection, with books mostly centered around Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Hellboy.

Laybrinth, The Dark Crystal, Legend, Hellboy, The Dark Knight, The Princess Bride, The Iron Giant, Cat's Don't Dance, Up, Wall-E, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Short Circuit, Ghostbusters, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Pretty in Pink, Breakfast Club, Back to the Future (just to name a few). Honestly, almost anything from the 80's is on my list, along with most Don Bluth animated films, Disney, Pixar, as well as fantasy and sci-fi flicks. Don't forget to add comic related movies in there too like Guardians of the Galaxy, Iron Man, Avengers and Batman.

I love cross stitch! I've been making cross-stitch since I was a teenager. I also enjoy drawing, painting and digital art. I've tried my hand at a few ATC's in the past, but I'm still learning. Once I get better, I might try a few ATC swaps. I'm also fond of papercrafts.

Favorite colors are plum purple, forest green, navy blue and cranberry. I also love things with a watercolor look.

Favorite animals are cats, especially Pusheen the cat!

I love anything fantasy related like faeries, dragons, unicorns.

I also love vintage items, like vintage photographs, postcards, greeting cards or any other unique items. I also enjoy things with a 50's or 60's theme or items that have a 'retro' feel.

I love receiving things I can create with, such as pens, markers, colored pencils, stickers, scrap booking papers/pictures, photographs, cut outs from magazines/books.

I like adult coloring books, cross stitch kits, diamond painting kits, and paint by numbers.

Favorite scents are anything coffee, caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, coconut, or apple.

When it comes to food items, I'm always a sucker for chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate or caramel items. I also love strawberry, cherry, or coffee flavored items. The only food flavor I don't care for is coconut. The texture drives me nuts.

Pine and lavender scented items. They cause asthmatic reactions.

Tea. I don't really care for tea. However, if you have something exotic and fruity that doesn't taste like tea at all, I may be interested in trying it.
