Hello my name is Lizzy. I am 18 years old. I am fluent in German and English. I am studying Japanese in school and have been for almost three years. I am studying Korean and just started taking classes in Fall of 2010. I love Asian cultures because they are so different. The history, the language, and the cuisine is something I find fascinating. Korean and Japanese music has become an obsession at this point. I have several penpals in Japan and love exchanging letters and small items with them. :) I love my own culture. I am half German from my mother's side and half Romanian from my father’s side. I've learned to respect and engage myself in learning about them. Why? My cultures make me who I am today. I am unique.
I love to dance. I have been dancing for just over eight years now. I have been formally trained in all styles but, street styles are my favorite. I've taken diction classes and voice lessons since I was very little. Music has always been a part of me as I am now an excellent pianist and guitarist. Music and dance have been more than just a hobby for me. It has transformed into a lifestyle. It has become a necessity; something I need to do so I can get through the stresses of my own life. Dance and Music and kept me sane through the toughest of times. I may be young but I feel as though I have been though a lot. I know that my passion for Dance and Music will carry me through future struggles as well.
Dancing, singing, reading, crocheting, couponing, and writting letters is how I spend my free time.
Stickers, Stationary, Posters (see favorite music), Postcards, Ribbons, Lace, Paper, Stuffed animals, Beads, Yarn. Anything deemed "CUTE"! Bento boxes!! Deco Tapes, Magazines (My Japanese Pen Pals love getting these with my letters), Pens, Keychains, Books, Tea.
Religious Items, Thread (I can't sew), Pencils, Sticky Notes (I have too many), Dollar store items, Inks (I have so much right now!), Paintbrushes, Buttons (My button collection is too massive), Rubber stamps, Movies, Fabric.
Purple is my favorite :) Blues, Greens, Pinks.
PLEASE do not send chocolate! I am allergic to several brands so I wish to avoid it completely. Heavy scented perfumes and other items give me migranes and an upset stomach depending on the scent so things like candles and bath products are not a good idea to send to me.
I would love receiving CDs, Posters, Concert DVDs, and any other merchandize of these artists.
