I am a female who lives in South Georgia. I live in the country and I love the peace and quiet it offers..I have a husband and two grown boys who have beautiful children, and another on the way in Jan.2010. I LOVE BEING A GRANDMA!!! I have a sister who i absolutely adore with all my heart too...She has been dealt a very serious health issue and she is really a TROOPER!!! I work 3rd shift with the state and i love to relax on my days off, by doing either absolutely nothing during the day or doing some of my crafts..i live in an old house that was built in the early 1900's and i have fun redoing the rooms and collecting old farmhouse and barn pictures and anything to do with the older type of farming. The house sits on a hill, in the middle of 125 acres of land with a pond on the far end of the property....you really have to like peace and quiet to live here!!! I am an AirForce brat too ..we traveled all over the US and I would love to start traveling again with my family...I really want to go on a cruise to the Bahamas,,my husband says he will not get on a cruise ship ..so, I guess i will have to talk my sister into it one day...

I love country music, but I will listen to other kinds; just NOT hard rock...The older music I grew up with is another of my favorites...I love Celine Dion.Josh Groban,Trace Adkins,Rascal Flatts,Reba,Josh Turner,Tim McGraw,Kid Rock(All Summer Long),and Lynard Skynard(Sweet Home Alabama),Alabama,Percy Sledge, Otis Redding, Faith Hill,Elvis and my love,KENNY ROGERS..I have seen him twice and am waiting till he comes close again to my area..

I love all of the CSI shows,plus Law and Order(all of them that come up under this name) I love the Reba shows(I just hate that she got cancelled for new shows)Any of the DYI and Clean House shows,The Food Network(especially Paula Deen)any of the craft and yard shows..The Young and the Restless soap opera is one I have been watching since it came on tv..

As far as crafts, I will try just about any of them; but I love making girls hair bows....I have started out small, but I have several faithful customers... I have even tried making wreaths and big bows for people to use on mail boxes,doors, and any occassion they need one for. I just finished 20 bows for a wedding ..BUT the biggest challenge was in 2007 when my younger son asked to get married to his wife at our house, in the front yard, and her parents and I held the reception inside the house...if it hadn't been for the love and help from my family,I don't think I could have done it by myself...It was really a beautiful wedding for the hot month of July!! So, now I know how to throw a wedding!! I love to receive and try to find pretty ribbons to make hair bows with (anything from 1/2 inch to a full 1 inch ribbon).. I love to do wood working...I have saws and sanders and i tackle Christmas projects with joy!!! I like to try to find new patterns for wood working projects too... I love to collect all sorts of seasonal items to display in the house .. I do a lot of sewing and i am having fun sewing for one of my granddaughters! I love to collect any kind of sewing doodads.. I collect odd pieces of fabric to piece together a quilt with too.., I love to know the history of a piece of fabric when i use it..I have quilts tops from 2 of my grandmothers and 2 quilts that my late mother in law made and gave to me...I cherish these pieces..I love to collect miniature furniture too.. I have several pieces and i am trying to find a medium size doll house to put the pieces in...there are some beautiful pieces in the dollar stores too..

I love to try new recipes in my crockpots..I have several that are the easiest to put together. I love Mexican food (tacos, yum yum) and Chinese food(fried egg rolls and wontons are my favorite) My favorite food of all is a good well done steak, baked potatoe with sour cream and a good salad. Since i work at night 10pm to 6am, i like to find simple recipes...One pot meals are great for me to use since it is just my husband and i. I enjoy collecting cook books and recipes..Paula Deen is my favorite to collect...she is a true rags to riches story..
