Hello! My name is Laura, and I live in Canada. I have loved penpals and postcards and swaps for many years, and am excited to join the Swap-Bot community. I recently joined Postcrossing as well.

Some of my favourite hobbies (besides writing letters and postcards) include knitting, crocheting, camping, playing guitar, walking my dogs, collecting house plants for my indoor jungle, making photo books, and canoeing. I enjoy spending as much time outside as possible!

My favourite foods are pizza, guacamole, blueberries, cheesecake, peanut butter/chocolate ice cream, apple slices with almond butter, and burrito bowls.

I have traveled minimally, but so far I have visited: quite a few states in the USA, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Spain, and Copenhagen. On my bucket list are: Australia, New Zealand, France, Scotland, Ireland, England, and Bali.

My favourite TV shows are: Friends, Survivor, The Office (American), and The Bachelor/Bachelorette. I also enjoy watching baking competition shows, and wildlife documentaries.

My favourite stationery items are washi tape, postcards, envelopes, and stickers. I especially enjoy floral and ocean stickers/washi. My favourite colours are shades of blue and green (teal is the perfect combination)! I love colourful mail, and try to include fun stamps on letters and packages whenever I can. I recently purchased a few large lots of vintage Canadian stamps, and love using them on my outgoing mail!

My favourite movies include: Titanic, the Harry Potter series, Wanderlust, Practical Magic, Wild, Catch Me If You Can, Mean Girls, and most 90s/00s romcoms.
