About Me

Hello! I am from Long Island, NY, USA and I am second generation Irish and third generation Italian. I teach 5th grade hearing students (10-11 year olds) Reading, Writing and Social Studies in NYC. I am fluent in American Sign Language and have taught the Deaf for many years.

I have travelled a lot outside my country, but not too much inside. Now, that Covid is here, my travel plans are on hold. So, I thought this might be fun!

I love everything tea, wine, the ocean, Ireland, planners, stationary, fountain pens, dip pens, wild life, pets (I have 8), music, art, jewelry, old muscle cars and everything history. When I have time to read, I enjoy non-fiction, light fantasy and murder mysteries. BIG Dr. Who and Sherlock Holmes fan!
