I live in Australia, so it can take months for mail to get to and from international destinations. My time zone (Australian Eastern Standard Time) is 17 hours ahead of swap-bot time (sometimes 18 or 19 hours ahead during our summer), so if a postmark says it was posted a day or two after I clicked sent, that is why. I send ALL my swaps on time! I cannot control when they get postmarked (if at all) or how long it takes Australia Post (who are notoriously slow at the best of times) to get them on their way abroad. If I have not rated you for a swap, I have not received it. I rate every swap the day I receive it. However, if you are concerned about a swap being lost, please send me a message!
If you have not received a swap from me, please message me before rating a 1! I send out ALL swaps. Mail can often take 3 months, please let me know if it has already been 3 months since the send-by date of the swap! I will happily resend the swap if it has been this long!
If there has been a misunderstanding about swap requirements, please message me before rating a 3. I will happily discuss it with you, and fix any mistake I have made and resend the swap!
Thankyou and happy swapping :)
Hello! I'm Lisa and I live in Melbourne, Australia. My birthday is in July. Apart from snail mail, my favourite activities are:
Photography (more info below)
Travel/Adventures
I love to send and receive mail.
I collect:
Postcards
Stickers (any theme)
Currently circulating coins and banknotes/paper currency.
I am always interested in private swaps for postcards, coins and banknotes. I can send stamps, stickers, postcards, tickets and foreign coins. However I cannot send Australian currency as I don't ever have any. This is because I always use card or internet banking for all of my transactions. Thanks for understanding! I also do have other random stuff, if you'd like to do a private swap then please message me, I may just have something you want to swap for.
I collect blank postcards to use in my travel journal. I keep the ones I receive in swaps that are of places I'd like to travel to (if it's likely that I'll actually be able to get there!)
I love to travel, and tourist type postcards are my favourite, but I also love the following themes as well :)
I love tourist postcards from anywhere in Australia too. I have not had the chance to visit much of Australia, so if you have any blank Australian postcards, I'd love them :)
I'd prefer to receive the postcard blank in an envelope, obviously unless the swap dictates otherwise :)
I collect currently circulating coins and banknotes/paper currency. I enjoy looking at them and learning what they all look like. If you do send me coins or banknotes I would love if you could include a note saying what the coin is if it is not in English, or if it has a nickname not written on the coin or note. I'm not bothered if the coin is a standard circulating coin or a limited coin minted for circulation like the USA state quarters or similar. Same goes for banknotes/paper currency. Don't worry if you think you are sending me a coin or banknote I already have, I swap with others outside of swap-bot so duplicates are always welcome! Just send what you have :)
Currencies I am especially interested in collecting:
-Aruban Florin
-Australian Dollar (I don't use cash so I literally don't have any, especially any limited coins or old paper dollar or pound notes)

But I will add any to my collection :)
I shoot both digital and film.
I have instant cameras that shoot the following:
Instax Mini, Instax Square, Instax Wide, Polaroid 600 and Polaroid I-Type film.
I also use 35mm film and disposable film cameras.
Address labels made for me are very much welcome! Air mail stickers are also welcome as we don't have stickers here in Australia, you have to lick them and they have the most horrid taste!
Christmas cards: I prefer non-religious ones.
Tea: I don't drink tea.
Any sort of tourist souvenir is also welcome.
I look forward to swapping with you :)

Corina
Liiskah,
Thank you very much for the great variety of stamps you dropped in the envie with the used stamp postcard swap! What a thoughtful gesture! It’s really fun looking at stamps from other countries. My favorite from the ones you sent is the one Christoph Waltz. He was phenomenal in ** Inglorious Basterds. The other international stamps are interesting as well. Thanks again!
Hi! Just wanted to let you know I mailed the “Let’s Trade Coin” swap today! It’s coming from the US, so it may take a little bit before you see it!
my train card arrives safely home :) thankyou very much :)
Hello! And thanks for your Random Postcard for the Postcard Roulette! It was a welcome surprise to receive something from a fellow Melburnian. Take care! Philippe
