I'm a veterinary dermatologist by trade and started quilting a few years ago. I still call myself a beginner, but just started branching out into things I've been avoiding (like pinwheels and embroidery). I love quilting and just wish I had more time :)

I have 3 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 horses. We live in the country but I work in the city, so best of both worlds :)

Favorite fabrics: I love all things Moda, lol. I like quilters cotton and love the minkee/cuddle fabrics too (even though my Bernina does not care for them!). I also enjoy doing wool hand applique.

Favorite colors: Not picky. I love brights but also love muted colors of traditional thimbleberries type quilts. Not a huge fan of purple, but it can be a nice accent. I love sage green and pretty much any fall colors.

Other "stuff": I'm a huge coffee-freak and love fabrics with cute little coffee prints. Anything dog/cat/horse/pawprint/etc is right down my alley. I love all animal stuff. I do machine embroidery with my Bernina and am just now starting to dabble in some hand embroidery (skill level currently = sucks, lol).
