I am a Canadian who loves winter.

The short winter days are perfect for outdoor sports and slow-cooked meals.

After the leaves fall, my craft room is the sunniest (and warmest) spot in the house -- my two cats share a spot on the window sill and keep me company for hours.

It's a very productive and rewarding time of year.

Favorite Crafts

Hobbies:

  • Sewing (collecting fabric)

  • Quilting (another excuse to collect cotton fabric)

  • Knitting (collecting wool)

  • Crewelwork and embroidery (collecting thread, needles, hoops, ribbons, and some really good instruction books)

Fabric preferences: cotton, 100% cotton, small- to mid-sized prints.

Favorite colours:

FABRIC - green or yellow

YARN - grey, brown, white, or blue

EMBROIDERY - white, red, black, and blue
