My name is Mae, I'm a college student who is obsessed with collecting random things. Trolls, stickers, cats, masks, and unicorns are just a few examples. I find most of my treasures at the local flea market. I also love bike riding, i ride just about everywhere except to work, and to say the truth I didn't even own a car until last april. Other than that I like to sew and paint. I don't too anything too big when I sew, just small things like making shoulder bags and resizing clothes for myself and my friends. For painting though I've gotten really into doing larger pieces lately, I tried on to step out of my comfort zone, and I haven't done one under 3 ft since. The thing with painting is that it's so refreshing to finish a painting you started from raw materials, to then cut the wood and stretch the canvas to finally start painting. A great sign of accomplishment no doubt.

I'm a huge fan of folk music lately, Dr.Dog and The Alabama Shakes, if you've never listened to them before, you should check them out!

Living in Texas, I have the honor to go to ACL (Austin City Limits) just about every year, a different amazing experience each time I have gone! More than a handful of the music I listen to, i've heard first at the festival. LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

Some of my Favorites: Modest Mouse, The Killers, Cake, Coeur De Pirate, Seu Jorge, The Lumineers, Bleached, The Avett Brothers, The Postal Service, Dr.Dog, Young the Giant, Pixies, Vampire Weekend, Of Montreal, Dirty Heads, The Shins, Noah and the Whale, Acrylics, The Dodos, Portugal the Man, The National, Ben Folds, Ben Kweller, Cults, Jacuzzi Boys, and a lot of other bands I can't think of at the moment.

No amount of words can describe the love I have for DOCTOR WHO, it makes my heart melt every time I meet someone with the same love for the show..for him.

Other than that Netflix has drawn me into countless other shows, it's a weakness.

As for movies..my all time favorite director is Wes Anderson followed by Paul King and Tim Burton.

My favorite Wes Anderson film is The Royal Tenebaums, but I've been quite obsessed with his recent film, Moonrise Kingdom. These are just my two favorites at the moment, I love all of his films, how couldn't you?

If you've never heard of Paul King, just watch Bunny and the Bull, first movie I ever saw of his, I fell in love.

Tim Burton is a genius, no more needs to be said. oh wait...Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

Stickers, i truly believe that one simple sticker can make a persons day. I have a pouch of stickers, a big pouch, but it's with me at all times.

I used to hold on to every sticker and NEVER use them, but whats the use of a sticker if you don't stick it? It's purpose is demolished, I put them EVERYWHERE, my professors make fun of me for putting a sticker on EVERY test scantron i use, but hey I'm sure it cracked a smile outta them.

A few ideas of what I want:
