I am a happily married stay at home Mum aged 59 and
I have 6 kids ranging in age from 38 to 30 year old twin boys.
I am a full-time carer for my 30 year old daughter Jessie who has Rett Syndrome, its a full time job but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Hubby Jim and I have a small 6-acre hobby farm in a small rural village. We don't have any farm animals like sheep or cattle, we have the land because we love the quiet and solitude.
You can walk around outside in your undies and there are no neighbors to see. LOL
We have 1 Dog called Bear and a cat called Sansa.
I am a volunteer with our local Hospital Auxiliary
.
I've been out of the swapping world for a while but now my life is a little less hectic I'd like to get back into it.
I love all types of music but especially Australian 70's and 80's.
I am a book addict! I love to read and try and get through at least 2-3 books a week. I'm always buying books from garage sales and charity shops. I have a lot of favorite authors but I will read pretty much anything. I recently bought a kindle because I've run out of book cases.
Some of my favorite authors are: Sherrilyn Kenyon Erin Hart Dan Brown Stephen King Dean Koontz Anne Rice Susannah Kearsley Barbara Erskine Diana Gabaldon Janet Evanovich Steve Alten To name just a few :)
I have too many favourites but some of them are: Jaws When Harry Met Sally Juno Nick and Norahs Infinite Playlist The Notebook Safety Not Guaranteed The Time Travellers Wife Titanic Always All of the Harry Potter movies The Lord of the Rings Trilogy P.S I love You Harold and Maude
There is so much rubbish on TV and most of my favourites have finished but here are some of the:
The Good Wife Castle Law and Order SVU Law and Order Criminal Intent The Closer Supernatural The Big Bang Theory Lie to Me Cold Case Game of Thrones The Following QI Time Team Grand Designs American Horror Story Coven Orange is the New Black
I can honestly say I have no craft skills whatsoever! Sorry :) I do love to reuse and recycle though, and enjoy op shopping so I can collect bits and pieces to reuse in other projects.
I really am happy to swap just about anything! I collect unusual things like Tarot cards and anything remotely spooky, but I also love to try something new so I'm open to whatever others are swapping. I do like Halloweeny things, bookmarks, fridge magnets, note cards, stationary, wind chimes, anything guinea pig related,Labrador dog things,Cat things, spiders, sun catchers. Pens, any types.Buttons, and washi tape. Magnetic photos frames. Postcards, can never get enough of these. Skeletons, any sizes. Witches, made from anything. Books, I love historical time travel. Stationary. Address labels. Recycled stuff, anything that has been remade from something else. Plastic pony beads, I'm learning how to make melted sun catchers. Ribbon, any type or color. Bags, all types of tote and shopping bags. As it's been a while since I've done any swapping at all its all going to be quite new to me so hopefully, I will catch on quickly :)

Hi Jill! I am your partner for Leave A Comment and Pic on Your Partners Profile. OH Wow at your book love! I am a book lover too...just not 3-4 a week. I can generally do 1 a week...but the last few months, I've been in a reading funk. My book club is reading a book I wanted to read, but I'm still delaying it...The Good Girl by Mary Kubica.
Have you read it? I hope it is good. But I have really heard a lot of good things about the Janet books...maybe I'll start those after I finish this one...Well, I hope you have a fab day!
Happy Swapping!
Nicole
Hi,
You're my partner for Leave a Pic and Comment.
You have a busy life - carer, mum, farmer, volunteer! Fulfilling and rewarding though no doubt? I see you like Time Team (so do I) so here's a pic of Tony Robinson playing the Artful Dodger in Oliver in theatre back in 1960 - http://www.unofficialtonyrobinsonwebsite.co.uk/pages/theatre2/theatre2.html Slainte/Shalom, Cal Dithreabhach

Hi Jill,
I agree with you on the music. I stay away from rap and heavy metal too. I'm reading a book called "Ghost Light" by LeeAnne Hansen. The author gave me a free PDA for my honest review. It is only available electronically (Kindle, Amazon...) as of right now because it isn't published yet. I'm on page 84 right now and I'm liking it. Your carpenter needs to make you some book shelves. Lol I like your profile. Have a great rest of the week.
