I am an academic librarian at a small 2 year nursing college in Florida. I love to read and art journal. My favorite color is red. I do not collect anything. My home is already cluttered enough. I love stationery and cards and stickers. I am like a kid with stickers. I prefer artistic stickers. For example I just purchased a small pack of Edward Hopper paintings as stickers for $1.50. No Disney princesses please. I do so love to get mail ! I miss the days when people wrote letters, not just e-mails.

Love blues and R&B, rock, and country. Favorite musicians: Paul Thorn, Bonnie Raitt, Lucinda Williams, Travis Tritt

Read mostly contemporary fiction, no thrillers or scary stuff. Water for Elephants is my favorite book of the ones I've read in the last few years.

Love movies except for horror, extreme violence Silver Linings Playbook was a favorite as was Flight w/ Denzel Washington, like indie films

Am addicted to The Good Wife, Nashville and Scandal. Although I am finding the violence in Scandal quite disturbing.

Am trying to be a bit more creative in my old age. I do art journaling - usually mixed media with paints, markers, stamps, stickers. I am just learning to layer and texturize. I'm going to try an ATC for a swap and see how it goes.

I love chocolate in every form! I do not like coffee or tea, hot or cold. I love bright colors. I like light, lots of light, in my home. I have a cat I am crazy about. Her name is Raven (she is black) and she is about 13 yrs. old. She came from a rescue shelter when she was one. I wish she was a lap cat but she prefers her own space so I just get up & pet her periodically. When she is feeling very friendly she will come to me for a head rub but doesn't stay long.
