Marshmallow

I have been on a bit of a break...a long break, LOL Towards the beginning of my break I got discourage by some of the items I was receiving and ratings that were being left, BUT I was one of the original members of swap-bot and I miss it so after such a long break I want to get back into some swaps!

Now for the fun stuff:

I am 34 years old and live in Washington, not the DC. :o) I received my teaching certificate back in June 2008, but other than subbing for 4 or 5 years I never found a full time position. I love kiddos none the less even though I don't have any of my own. I am very active in my church, where I am the youth and Vacation Bible School Director, and the local F.O.E., Eagles, club. All of these keep me VERY BUSY. But you gotta enjoy life while you have it. I am two time Past President of the Wenatchee F.O.E. and I have been Secretary of the Auxiliary for 6 years. I am an in charge kinda person and if no one is controlling a situation I tend to be the person to take charge. Hey someones gotta lead, right?

I love all things artsy fartsy but my current hobbies mostly center around painting (watercolor and acrylic), crochet, button making ( I have 2 button pressing machines) and of course making masks.

I am also trying to get into more writing since I feel I have a lot to say and need somewhere to express it. I am a very easy going person and just LOVE to get things in the mail, as long as its not bills, those are not my favorite :O)

Country. I was raised on country. Starting to get into some of the religious Christian music and SOME top 40 stuff.

I like pretty much all movies but horror flicks. Too hard to sleep. LOL

All the CSI type shows, Medical shows, Ripley's Believe It Or Not, those fun types of shows, Sometimes good 'ole cartoons

Crocheting, Kid's Crafts, Anything Crafty, I have been getting into some Polymer Clay

I love mystery romances. Gregory McGuire, who rights about the other side of fairy tales, I really enjoy these books. I enjoy anything fun to read and funny. Nothing too difficult, I don't like trying to translate the vocabulary in order to understand it. Lately I seem to really enjoy reading paranormal YA books. Vampires, witches, zombies, ghosts, that fun stuff, I don't know why but it works for me :O)

• Christian Things (But not overly religious, I like crosses and such but not really into crucifixes)
