I am a male in my early 50’s.I’m an artist/graphic designer and copywriter by trade.

Things I like: • Watercolor painting • Whimsical art • Portraits • Children’s book illustrations -- both classic and contemporary • Antique photographs • Street art (graffiti) • Favorite color is blue • Stamps from around the world.

Things I dislike: • Anything that is too overly cute and cuddly • Anime • The color pink • Glitter -- I loathe glitter!!

I like a wide variety of different music. Kate Bush, Annie Lennox, Eurythmics, Sia, Iron and Wine, Ed Sheeran, Garbage, TV on the Radio, Lana Del Rey, Florence and the Machine, and Tomaso Albinoni are just a few of my favorites! I really can’t say I appreciate death metal and goth.

I love Sci Fi and fantasy books. Dune, The Harry Potter series, Weaveworld, Fight Club, and Neil Gaimen books are a few of my favorites. I am a comic book geek. I collect children’s books.

Wuthering Heights (1992 version), Dune, Fight Club, 12 Monkeys, Dark City, Wallace and Gromit movies, The Fifth Element, Wanted, X-Men, X-Men 2, Alien, Aliens, V for Vendetta, and many more.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Lost, Grimm, Once Upon a Time, Big Bang Theory, Farscape, Alias, American Horror Story

I like to draw and paint. Primarily whimsical subjects. Colored pencil, watercolor, acrylics, Photoshop and mixed media.

I have “Flaked”once. It was when I lost a family member (my mother) and I fell into a deep depression and couldn’t do any artwork. I tried to explain to my swap partner but she only gave me an extra week and I just couldn’t complete my piece for her so she gave me a 1.
