So I'm completely new to this whole swap thing although I'm so excited to get started.
I have been making handmade cards for a few years now and really enjoy it. Cardmaking and scrapbooking accessories are my candy.
I also have recently started making clothes for my daughter and quilting. I love beautiful fabrics, and notions. My style is contemporary, whimsical, quirky, elegant, nothing country.
I am a runner and I run in all sorts of weather, from heat and humidity to snow and ice. I hope to run a marathon someday but for now, I've only done 1/2 marathons.
I love to cook. I enjoy trying new recipes and entertaining. I like comfort food but also try to incorporate as many fruits and vegetables as I can into my cooking so that my kids grow up enjoying all kinds of different foods and are adventurous eaters.
I have a daughter who is 3 and a son who is 1. I also have 2 dogs and have been married for 8 years.
I have 5 birdfeeders and 2 birdbaths in my yard and enjoy watching the birds in the winter. A hobby I picked up from my mom.
I'm not a knick knack kind of person, not a lot of frames or "dust collectors" around my house. I'm already drowning in kids toys.
I don't wear much jewelry but when I do wear something, it is white gold (silver), not typically yellow gold.
I wish I could speak Spanish and although I took a lot of spanish classes in school, I never became fluent in the language.
I have a major sweet tooth. Enough said!
I'm not much of a fashionista but I'm not afraid to make a bit of a statement with an accessory of mine be it a scarf, earrings, coat, shoes...
I love to read and wish I had more time to do it. I subscribe to Everyday with Rachael Ray magazine and Runner's World. I enjoy reading fiction.
I am a stay at home mom and am excited to start swapping. I like to learn new things and meet new people. This allows me to do both.
