ABOUT ME

My name is Melissa and I'm 32 years old. I am happily married and mother to 3 lovely little girls aged 2, 4, and 8. I live in sunny Queensland, Australia. There are so many things I like to do....entertaining....lazy afternoon by the pool....camping....crafting....reading.....the list goes on.

FAVORITE MOVIES

My favorite movies are period type movies (sense and sensibility) etc....just love the romance of them.

FAVORITE BOOKS

I like reading and my favorite author is Bryce Cortenay. The Potato Factory is my all time favorite book!

FAVORITE CRAFTS

I like to sew and have an embroidery machine that I like to have fun creating on. I have heaps of really cute kids designs that I will probably never get around tousing.....lol. But my main passion is for scrapbooking and card making....and has been so for the last 8 years. I think the term 'addicted' would best describe this hobby.....lol. My children usually know to find me in my crafting room.....lol.

OTHER FAVORITE THINGS

I am very versatile and can like anything depending on my mood......lol

I like 'vintage' and the shabby chic look

I guess my favorite colour is purple...but I like all colours in different combinations. From bold red, black, white....to floaty pinks.....to bright happy colours.....and earthy colours.

I like photography....I'm not so good at taking the pictures but I try hard.....lol. Love looking at all sorts of pics though.

I like quotes and the inspiration from them.

I like to be organised....as well as one can be with 3 children....lol.

I love funny things....people making me laugh....funny movies....jokes.....lifes to short not to be happy.
