09/09: Hello friends. Still in recovery but getting much better. I am still here. Please let me know if you're missing something from me. ;-)
Post matters
DO NOT send anything edible, nor even a single bag of tea. We are not allowed to import any sort of food (I wish we could!!)
I do certified all my envelopes and packages, except naked postcards as there is not such service for them, however, they are not longer 'trackable' on international tracking places or local post offices but they are at least visible in our local tool up to the point when the package leave the country so I can prove I sent them. Now, certified packages/letters take more horrible amount of time to complete the whole process to get sorted out after picked from blue box or local office to their final destination but it's the only way I can keep proof of shipping, so please bare with me.
PLEASE write me if you have not received from me. I promise I will do my best to make it right. Don't rate me down** without even giving me the chance to talk and act.

I am Maria, 50 years old. Mom of three grown children and 'grandma' of 6 beautiful grand-babies. I have a beloved sister and a niece and a nephew that are like my own children and we all live together (we are 10 at home, a very organized one). I also have 1 DIL and 1 SIL that treat me as their mom and I love them dearly (even if we fight lol).
I love my family above all, also love art, reading, traveling, Internet, movies, classic and indie music, talking, philosophy, philology, history, anthropology, even politics.... I am atheist but I love anything/everything related with religious icons, symbols, ethereal spirits, angels, pagan and so on and I have no problem receiving any of this as long as NOT Jehovah Witnesses (and DO NOT indoctrinate me, please).
I am a sharing person, I do not like hoarding (really minimalist in my possessions). I love to send extras and try to make my best to send your way a good package and by no means I expect extras back; however, I know the difference between quality and quantity and I much prefer to receive the first so I do really appreciate the love you put in your swaps as that is very important to me and if you pick something good than many cheap stuff. I don't like when I receive swaps where the sender just did just about to met the swap's criteria but nothing else.
I quilt, sew, do mixed media, altering, recycling, up-cycling and more. Love cotton fabrics (QSQ only), ethnic textiles and batiks, fibers of all kinds, buttons, papers, pretty stuff, VINTAGE stuff, doing collage, journals and make them (specially Flowish-y, painting, using watercolors, the stars, the cosmos, the humans, the leaves and trees, the ocean, the planets, ribbons & laces. SNOW!!
If you send postcards, I would like them in an envelope and blank, even if the swap calls for a written one (I won't rate you down, I promise it). However, I love used postcards (note cards, greeting cards, etc) for my collages and love used note-cards and greeting cards that I can re-purpose to send my postcards (do not get surprised if I sent your postcards within an used NC! It's only about recycling and re-purposing! I also love used postage stamps of any kind. Your leftovers and de-stash too.
I do love handmade items that show your soul, envelopes 4'' x 6'' and bigger, happy mail into decorated envelopes, painted papers, jelly papers, journal stuff, unique things, antiques. I love lighthouses, Cherry blossoms, hot air balloons, stars, the cosmos, supplies I can use to produce, the past, the 50's the 20's, Roses, Christmas and Fall, the snow (oh the snow)... Did I say snow?
I do not like:
I am an honest person, passionate, intense and straightforward (this gives me problems all the time) ...

Maria, your resend has arrived (I got home from camping and just caught the mailman as he was leaving me a slip to pick it up at the post office)! Thank you, sweet friend, for keeping track (I wasn't going to worry about it) - love the Berlin subway card and the sweet baby leaning on it's mothers back, and I can always use envelopes!
