About Me: My name is Diana Kleyensteuber,
but in Swap-Bot I prefer to be called MiniQuilt. The reason for my rating being 4.+ is because My computer was gone for 2-1/2 weeks being repaired. I ended up having to buy a new one.
My 1's and 3 is all made up. I am ready to send out my swaps. I am visually impaired with only 5% vision. I prefer that all letters sent to me be typed at an 18-24 size font. If you type my name (Diana Kleyensteuber) you will find me on the internet, where I am sewing. I live in the town of American Fork, in the state of UTAH in the country of the USA.
I am now enjoying retirement. I use to be an educator and taught the blind and the deaf-blind students. I can read and write braille as well as using the printed text. I also know and can talk in the American Sign Language (ASL).
I like to make greeting cards and ATC cards of which I like to write braille on them. I also like to sew and collect fabrics, knit, crochet and learn new things from our friends here in SB.
Music: My favorite music is western, classical, and the 1950's rock & roll. I can also play the piano, flute, and the baritone ukulele. My favorite composers are Mozart, beethoven, and Chopin. I also enjoy opera at times.
Favorite Books: I like mysteries, true stories about people and ones written by the authors themselves. A couple of authors I expecially like are John Grishim and Diana Gabaldan. I have other authors, but I cannot recall them. I read my books on Talking Books from the UTAH State Library for the blind and handicapped.
Favorite Movies: I prefet to watch movies on my television. If I go to the movies, I have to keep asking people what the actors are doing- like handing items to each other and what are the items. If I see the movies on TV, then I can see what is going on. I do not care for movies with bad language and such. (I like: Gone With the Wind, Scarlet, Dr. Zhivago, Amadeus, Fiddler on the Roof, and 12 Angry Men.)
Favorite television programs: I like the game programs, "The Biggest Looser," "The Amazing Race, "Minute to Win It, and I will have to come back to share the other favorites, and I can not recall the programs names. "Dual Survivor." Ninja Warrior, Pit Bulls and Parolees. I will ad as I recall.
Favorite crafts: I like to sew, plus do paper piecing to make quilt blocks. I make greeting cards of which I write braille onto, making ATC's, making Christmas ornaments as well as other kinds of ornaments. I like learning new kinds of crafts. I like to knit and crochet. I also like doing things with my computer- making address labels, greeting cards, letters, etc. I also volunteer at the Humanatarian Place where we can sew tote bags, baby gowns, and other things that may be made for people who need things in other countries.
My name Diana Kleyensteuber can be found on the internet where I am being interviewed by a news man. If you want to see me type the name Diana Kleyensteuber, and my picture will come on the screen of which you click onto the picture and you will see me sewing. My nose is right next to the needle of the sewing machine. This interview was done in 2010. You can also hear me talking. Nothing big, just something about me.
Other: I am alergic to shell fish of any kind, plus I am very allergic to pineapple. I can not eat any fruit that has been canned or bottled, as my tongue and throat get swollen.
I do NOT like WASHI TAPE of any kind.
I also like to collect ribbon with different pictures on it Ex: music notes. go visiting friends here in my neighborhood. I get around in the outdorrs by using my power-chair.
I am visually impaired with less than 5% vision, thus Legally Blind. Handwritten text is difficult for me to read. I can read the text size of 18 to 24 text size.
I can always add more goodies as the days go by.
I like to collect postage stamps. USA and other countries, so, please use the post office for your stamps.
PostCards: I especially like naked postcards of any kind or pictures. (quilting, I especially like)

My name is Diana. I live in the state of UTAH in the USA. This state is known for the Tabernacle Choir, an LDS Church choir. Utah is a desert state. I live just 11 miles from the Timpanogas Cave which is in our mountains. Ronald Reagan called this Choir as being America's Choir. I like to sew, collect postcards, knit, crochet, and make greeting cards. I also like to hake hand-made Christmas ornaments. I belong to a "Stitch & Sew" community on the internet. Also, I have an interview of me on the internet. I was being interviewed when I was sewing some tote-bags for our humanatarian group here in my town. I can read and write in braille. Know ASL (American Sign Language). If we swap greeting cards, mine will have braille on the cards. You will be able to touch the raised braille dots. I also like to write letters to pen friends in different countries. My favorite critters are the Meerkat and Emperor Penguins. My hair is long and I lilke to find things I can put into my hair to make different hair-do's. I have 2 Siamese cats. I also liketo to go for walks in my power chair. I like to visit friends in my neighborhood. I also like to make quilt blocks of different patterns with my 'stitch and sew' friends. We are a small group with about 50 of us in this group on the internet. Thanks for the fun, and I hope you can share with me some or the fun in my newe friends here. As always, Diana MiniQuilt
