Old, huge, wordy fiction: Trollope, Thackery, Dickens, Austen. Also new authors: Laurie King, John Mcphee, Jeff Sharra, and especially Patrick O'Brian. Love Historical novels and international authors.

Where do I start? I currently do: spinning, weaving, quilting, clothing sewing, heirloom sewing, knitting, tatting, embroidery, poly clay, paper crafts (primarily hand made cards), cooking and baking and gardening.

Historical movies, John Cleese, Korean Historical drama series, BBC movies and series.

I am a retired geologist, mother of four, grandmother of three. Live in central California. We love to travel, read, garden, make things, keep up with politics, volunteer, entertain our grandchildren, and interact with tolerant people of all varieties. We are looking forward to participating in house swaps in the future.
