I have been married 30 years come 02/11/08, after dating for about 6-8 weeks or so. No one thought it ould last, me a big city (Seattle) girl marrying a dairy farmer in the middle of the midwest. We have 3 daughters and 1 awesome grandson. I went to college at age 38 and graduated with a Medical Assistant degree, working only for about 5 years because of multiple sclerosis. I also have my own "farm based business", a handmade candy and giftbasket business, this is my 20th year doing that.
I love learning new things, any new things, especially crafts. My favs are knitting, and Hardanger embroidery. I like reading on how to do different crafts and love skimming craft magazines. My yarn preference is Noro self striping especially for felting but I like to try most anything at least once. I am so blessed to have the internet to buy yarn from, otherwise it would be just yarn from the big W store.
My main New Years promise is to try to keep up better with my blog. I hope by the middle of Feb. I will be doing that. "The best laid plans of mice and men,,,,"

I am so glad you liked all of it! I can't believe that I picked your favorite color! I love that yarn, it is super fun to knit with -- and 2 skeins is enough for some fingerless gloves!
