Hi there I am an Elementary Art Teacher of 20+ years. I am a single mom of an adult child ( child more than adult lol). I have no fur babies, but don't mind other peoples. I am a true Gemini, I can never make up my mind and love just about everything. I enjoy lake time, can't resist chips and salsa , most of all I ever want to do is be creative.
I have a very eclectic taste in all things, especially music. I like all genres and it really depends on my moods or my surroundings. If you were to ask me this question in Jr. High it would have been New Kids on the Block (still today I listen to them). In high school hair metal bands especially Extreme (still love a guy with a nice flowing mane). College would have been country (loved the country bars). Once my own child got to middle school it was whatever she was listening to, although she had and still has a huge love of Elvis. Now I listen to stuff the students listen to, have to stay up with the kids. I have thing for 50's and 60's as well.
Like my music I will read anything, I am probably obsessive with my reading, I keep a book everywhere with me. I read all genres but books I can't seem to find anything to beat is Gone with the Wind, Hunger Games, Wayfarer Redemption and Bluebeard by Kurt Vonnegut.
My Movies and Television range from Horror, True Crime to Romantic Comedies. I love to watch black and whites with dreamy movie stars like Montgomery Clift and Clark Gable. My favorite classic is the Heiress. Another favorite is the Shining movie and book. I am hooked on the Masked Singer currently and Loki.
Lastly all my crafts I do, crochet, embroidery, scrapbooking, memory planning, junk journals, painting, mixed media, ceramics, resin... people say I have crafting ADHD I go from one art form to the next. I just love creating and looking at art supplies, organizing art supplies, I can't control my brain from thinking all the time what I can create.
