I am a high school science teacher (mainly Chemistry) in a suburb of Minneapolis Minnesota. I am married with 2 cats and a dog, which are as close to children as I am ready for. During the school year I don't have much free time that isn't spent grading papers, but I love to craft I can always find time for a special project.
*spinning - both drop spindle and wheel *needlepoint - cross-stitch and embroidery, but I prefer embroidery *crochet - I love to crochet but I usually stick to simple projects because I hate keeping track of my place in complicated patterns *Other crafts I like to do sometimes - quilting, sewing, stamping, scrapbooking and anything new (I love to learn new crafts)
Likes - coffee, black tea, purple, fibers for spinning, milk chocolate, chocolate with nuts in it, fantasy fiction books, mystery books that aren't too gory, "geek" stuff (anything related to D&D, Ren faires, video gaming, WoW, RPG gaming, chemistry), mint scents, eucalyptus scent, spiced scents
Dislikes - herbal tea, dark chocolate, chocolate with fruit in it, coconut, religious themed things (any religion), anything too gory or suspenseful, western movies/books, frilly/girly things, flowery/fruity scents
Note: I have been having a lot more trouble with arthritis in my hands lately so I won't be signing up for hand-made swaps until my I able to do them more quickly and with less pain. I will still be finishing up the ones I am signed up for it is just taking longer.

I laughed when I read your comment. We have our games on Sat. At least 2, if not 4 times a month! Being a geek is so awesome! If you have the time, you should join the D&D swap!
That is awesome! WoW is so addictive. I got myself to quit for 6 months, but i'm back! Haha, good luck with teaching, and hope you get to gaming again. I used to raid with this teacher as well-- she used the "Maps of Azeroth" to teach Geography!
