I live north of Atlanta, Ga -we moved here from Cleveland,Ohio about 7 years ago. Love the south , miss my family and friends back home... We've lived in Maryland, New Jersey and Virginia. I live with my husband of 20+ years , 4 boys ranging in age from 20-10 and a Goldendoodle who thinks she is a person. After having my own business for 10 years doing graphics & consulting work- I went back to teaching. Now I spend the days teaching art to K-5 graders - and I love it!!!!

My favorite place to vacation is the beach, especially the beaches in South Walton along 30A. Beautiful white sand, turquiose water and a very artsy community.

I listen to just about everything, depending on my mood...favs are classic rock, (Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Genesis) 80's (Elvis Costello, Cars...) alternative, country and old jazz...yep-pretty much everything...

Before going back to teaching, I read a book a week, but not reading too much lately. I've been doing more "reading" on the ipad with audio books. Love technology . I like Stephen King, Dean Koontz. Now I am reading a lot of childrens books, use them often in my classroom for art lessons.

I almost always have the tv on. Not that I am watching it, but it's on. I like the cooking, home improvment and "treasure collector" shows. American Pickers is one I've been watching lately. Love the crime tv, like NCIS, CSI and all the others. Anything on the Discovery Channel, and old series from the 60's are great. Would like to find the old Twilight Zone series on TV.

Being an art teacher , I get to try a little bit of everything. I'm super lucky to have that opportunity. My art room at home looks like a mini art store, I've been buying and trying out supplies for over 25 years (so you can imagine my collection of supplies! ) I'm super organzied and like to have everything set up just right. Lately I've been doing Zentangles-very relaxing! I love to use watercolors and over the last couple of years tried to do more acrylic painting. Really, I've tried it all and love doing anything related to making art.
