About Me

I am a single mom with a daughter who is attending college in New York City! I live in Texas!!! Don't know how that happened, but she is following her dream and I support her 100%. I work full-time and volunteer at a near by hospital, crocheting items for the babies in the intensive care unit. I have been crocheting for many years and learned how to knit a few months back, although I'm not very good at it!

Looking forward to making some friendships from this site.

Favorite Music

I love classic rock music, but mostly Boston, Elton John, ELO and I also like oldies music! Also love Journey with their new singer, sounds so much like Steve Perry!

Favorite Television

I love to crochet in front of my television. Right now with all the new shows on, it's hard to pick a favorite, but I do enjoy watching Law and Order, Special Victims Unit; Dancing with the Stars and any movie on Turner Classic Movie station.

Favorite Crafts

I love to crochet! Right now I'm working on about five projects!!! I need to finish my Halloween projects before moving on. I also like crocheting angel blankets for the babies in ICU at a hospital here in town. I started a Care Wear group at the hospital and we knit, crochet and sew items for the babies.

Favorite Movies

I love black and white movies, but my all time favorite movie is Casablanca.
