NOTE:
Nov 1 09, Roy is doing well and should start proton therapy in a couple of months... the cancer has moved to the next stage, but the doctors feel he is a good candidate for this cancer treatment option. My sister, Laurie, and I are opening a business (Guppy Tales, an aquarium store) and we open next week so we have been working 12-16 hours a day to get the store ready. I am so sorry any late swap mailings and I appreciate my swap partners' understanding, I look forward to finally getting the store open so I'll have "Me" time again to re-join more swaps soon.
Aug 23 09, my partner has just been diagnosed with prostate cancer, so I am behind on my swaps- luckily he just finished the last of his tests (cancer has not spread further), so I will be able to catch up on my swap commitments soon. I appreciate everyone's understanding.
I pledge to rate all swaps received! If you sent me a swap and I have not rated you within a reasonable time from you mailing the package, please contact me in case I never received it! I ask that my partners do the same for my swaps as well. Thank you!

I live in Spokane with my guy, Roy, and our beautiful (long-coat) German Shepherd, Dexter and Mouse, our chinchilla.
My favorite color is green (emerald, forest, sage, hunter, green-green, but no puce or pea-soup green). My bedroom is sage green and gold. Bath is Dark green, dark blue and mauve. Kitchen is blue and white. I wear green, gray, white, black, pink and red. I dislike 'cutesy' stuff for myself.
I love lavender: oils, creams, lotions, candles, sachets. Also cinnamon, clove, carnation, fruits and herbs. I dislike overly heavy scents like gardenia. I have a Scentsy warmer and enjoy trying new scents.
I have a weakness for handmade paper- I wish I knew how to make my own; instead, when I go to Seattle I buy from a paper shop downtown.
I lived in Nuremberg, Germany for four years and have some great photos of Germany, Austria, Italy (Florence), and England. I love German food and have some great recipes.
My nickname is T, but I'll answer to Tina or Goddess also.
Fishing, reading, more fishing, tatting & knitting, more fishing, art & drawing, some more fishing, gardening (where I can get worms for fishing) fresh herbs and bright flowers, training my German Shepherds (and taking them fishing- and occasionally pulling them out of the river when they fall in), cooking, and watching TV and movies with my friends.
Fountainhead, Atlas Shrugged, Leadership Challenge, Laurell K Hamilton series, Charlaine Harris series (I was reading this before Tru Blood came out on HBO), Naked Ape, In Search of the Big Bang, and so many more in so many catergories
The Bourne Trilogy, Underworld 1-3, Babel, Crash, Dark Knight, Zoolander, The Alien Quadrilogy, Armageddon, Chronicles Of Riddick, Good Will Hunting, Dogma, Kill Bill 1&2, Pulp Fiction, Resident Evil trilogy, Searching for Bobby Fisher, Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, Slumdog Millionaire, Taken
I love my TiVo: Leverage, Eleventh Hour, Grey's Anatomy, House, Heroes, Fringe, The Colbert Report, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Medium, Smallville, Life, Dexter, Lie to Me, Royal Pains
Its not important how you're reflected in the mirror, what's important is how you are reflected in the eyes of those you love and respect -- T Hammond
Tatting, knitting, crochet, sketching and drawing (I do pointillism). I like to make cards, but I'm still learning techniques and I am teaching myself scrap booking. I love anything 'artsy-craftsy.' I love making dotee dolls!
Classical, instrumental, RAP (go figure), pop, country (but not twangy Western).

It looks like you are really busy with lots of other things right now but....I just wanted to check to see if you got the traveling pal I sent out before Christmas. I really hope he arrived, I only made one and the book I put together has some things I can't replace. Let me know if you didn't recieve it so I can make another stuffy and assemble the book, I guess with a different "theme". Will try to send other pictures of places visited, seeking new book to assemble for use hope to have it sent by the new due date....hope things are going well for you:o) Katie Barber (Haole1)
