i am interested in all sorts of creative things, including a bit of sewing, jewelry, art journalling, photography.. and especially mixed media painting and collage.

Oh, this is going to be a long list... ready? i like:

llittle things, vintage ephemera, foreign anything, photos, scrap paper, rubber stamps, written notes, ATCs, postcards, found objects, ribbons, original artwork, inspirational letters, zines, art journal pages, beads, gel pens, blank journals, boxes, yarn, art dolls, beautiful photography, quirky photography, handmade paper, books on art journalling, bright & bold colours, jewelry of any kind (i think i wear a size 7.5-8 ring!), the 1920s/30s/40s, colourful magazines/papers for collage, stickers, buttons, anything bohemian/gypsy-related..

elephants, birds, hands, eyes, trees, anything related to travelling or foreign cultures - particularly africa, india, or europe.

i also love philosophical ideas, discussions, questions, etc.

my favourite colours are "spring-y" greens and turquoise ~ but any bright, bold colour makes me happy.

to quite honest - there isn't much i don't like in the way of art. since i like doing mixed-media, most things i can incorporate into my art!

i don't like grungy olive/military greens, hateful words or subjects, dark humour, very patriotic subjects, or metal music..

nor do i like pessimism or negative thinking, cold and grey days that seem to last forever, fluorescent lights, closed-mindedness, hate, violence, 80s & 90s hair & fashion, the disney channel, children's tv shows, gold & silver jewelry (one or the other, please!), or drug references.

i'm rather annoyed at the post office for making me declare everything (international swaps only) i'm sending in a swap - it spoils the surprise! (but of course i can't help it, and neither can you, and i'll do the best to close my eyes when opening a package if you do!)
