I'm Sam. I'm a dental assistant by day, artist by night. Whether I'm awake or asleep I'm haunted with dreams of flying over oceans and dashing across the tops of clouds. I never imagined I would, but when I went off to San Francisco for art school for a bit, I fell in love with the city; getting lost in the parks and taking naps at Ocean Side...In a few more years I intend to open an art cafe. Also, I intend to catch a firefly someday :o) .

Jesus Christ is the glow in my heart, and if "my heart was a compass" he'd be North. He drives my heart ever forward, He gives me strength when it would otherwise be nonexistent. And through him, I know about a love more faithful than the morning. And I try hard to give that love to others.

I WANNA TRAVEL! I've only ever been to the Eastern USA, to the neighboring states of my home in California, and to Mexico...I wish that i could buy a motorcycle and pack nothing but my painting easel and the essentials, and blaze down the open road :) I have so many countries i want to visit. Until, or whether or not I do, I search for the here-and-now beauty of things whenever I can.

I mentioned before that I'm an artist. I'm a really CRAFTY artist. I'm constantly making little artistic trinkets for my friends. Clay, felt plushies, gouache paint, acrylic paint, graphite, caligraphy, collage, photography...It makes no difference what the medium is, as long as i'm using it to let my imagination spew out!
