I am a family counselor working with high risk low income children 1-18yrs, and their families in their homes. I love my work but my true love is making art, particularly in my art journal. It's therapy for the therapist. :-) I'm a wife, mother of 3 grown children, grandma to 1, sister, friend and artist. I enjoy connecting with other artists and love making items for swaps and receiving items that others have made. I love good coffee and enjoy trying new kinds of teas.

My tastes in music are eclectic. Current favorites are Lady Gaga, classics like The Beatles, New Age type music such as David Arkenstone, and classical music..

So many books, so little time! I particularly enjoy fantasy and re-telling of fairy tales, suspense fiction by authors like James Patterson, Iris Johanssen, Mystery writers like JA Jance, or women's stories like Sue Monk Kidd's books.

I LOVE making dolls, especially Art Dolls using mixed media. I enjoy papercrafts, collage, working with mixed media, ATCs, Art Journaling, altered books, assemblage. I get a kick out of re purposing items.
