About Me

Hi....my name is Carol.An ex farmer's wife with grownup children and 11 gorgeous grandkids. Recently retired I'm enjoying having the time spend on my creative interests. Tarot cards are a passion....I read for others and also have a tarot blog. I like to read and to be out in nature, particularly by the sea or among trees. Love animals , especially cats and have four feline friends.

I will always send so please contact me if nothing turns up within a reasonable time. It's not pleasant to receive a no-send rating that is undeserved and I would appreciate a private message before that happens. If for any reason I can't send I will contact you to let you know.

Favorite Crafts

I'm in the process of scrapbooking old family photos. Not having much drawing talent I love to collage and have created a personal deck of SoulCollage cards. Enjoy the meditative process of mandala drawing and have just begun making ATC's.

Favorite Music

Golden Oldies from the 50's thru 70's. Some country. Native American drumming, any New Age type music.

Favorite Books

I love books......too hard to choose favourites. The classic favourites from childhood like Winnie the Pooh & Peter Pan. Gone with the Wind. Good thrillers and historical novels.

Favorite Movies

Gone with the Wind Song without End Shawshank Redemption Thelma and Louise Shirley Valentine Brokeback Mountain .....anything that makes me laugh or cry.

Favorite Television

Animal Planet, Sensing Murder, movies, UKTV comedies, Sunday Theatre.

I like

.... anything crafty especially embellishments. Angels, fairies, flowers,butterflies, birds and bees, mythical and medieval, animals, travel, vintage.

Ribbons, lace, braids.

Notecards & envelopes

Would love some clear ATC envelopes which I can't buy here.

Not hard to please but not keen on pink, goths and ghoulies, cartoon & disney.

Please be aware that NZ customs will not allow plant material, seeds and some food into the country.

Comment: What an absolutely fantastic ATC! I love it! An extra thank you for the charms and the 'real' stamps. What kind of farming did you do? I'm thinking sheep, but that could be just a stereotype; we did a little of everything and wasn't it the best way to raise children?!
