I'm a 27yo NICU nurse living near Dallas, TX with my husband and 2 cats. I do all kinds of different crafts, but I picked up quilting just a couple of years ago and fell in love with it. I love picking out fabrics for quilts and love most of the more modern prints in bright colors. I'm excited about the quilt along so I can use a mix of modern and reproduction fabrics in one quilt :)

Most of my quilts are in modern tones with reds, mint greens, yellows, and blues, I don't use batiks.
