My name is Raynor, and I live in Australia, in a little house with my cat named Squish.

I enjoy crocheting, knitting, sewing, drawing, and reading. I’m interested in history, languages, traditional crafts, illustration, and anything old (day-to-day ephemera that often gets overlooked, not necessarily fancy antiques).

I love writing to my friends and collecting stamps, and I find it very hard to resist buying stationery. I would say that notebooks, letter sets, and fountain pens are a particular weakness, but I also love stickers and papers. Scented pencils are also a guilty pleasure.

I love Wizard of Oz, Mickey Mouse, the X-Men, going to the library, and cute animals, particularly cats, otters, puffins, and red pandas.

My favorite movie of all time is Return to Oz, and my favorite book is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, but a recent new favorite is The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller.

Posting

I mark things as sent as soon as I've completed the item, and I will either post that day or the next.

Australia Post has been a bit unreliable, so I do apologize if postmarks don't match up or things take a long time. Looking at my PostCrossing stats, some cards can take over 60 days others are taking only a couple weeks. It's frustrating!

Crafts

Crochet, knitting, sewing (general, English paper piecing, doll clothes), woodwork, drawing. I just generally like making things.

Movies

Return to Oz is the greatest movie of all time, in my humble opinion. I love Disney movies in general (but not really Pixar), and Marvel movies. I used to be a huge movie fanatic, but I haven’t really watched movies very often lately, and so I can’t think of any at the moment.
