I'm a mom, wife, and newly returned college student. Life is hectic to say the least. I have a little girl so anything child related can be as girlie as possible! She collects stickers and has a special sticker album so any stickers are greatly adored!
I listen to a lot of children's music anything that is multi-cultural, learning geared, or just different from the same old same old.
BIG reader, curently it's mostly textbooks. But I love mystery, vampire books, Janet Evanovich, anything entertaining, uplifting, new.
Child of the eighties here, The Breakfast Club, Can't Buy Me Love, anything along those lines. I also love the old black and white movies, anything that makes me laugh.
I am a sucker for HGTV, Fine Living Network, anything craft based. I also do find myself sucked into the occasional reality show, it's a guilty pleasure. My never misses are House and Dancing with the Stars.
I bead, paint, collage, stamp, anything simple really that does not require a lot of time of special skills. I would love to learn to knit or crochet but have not been successfull in my attempts. I make ornaments, jewelry, wreaths, etc.
I collect souviner plates, from anywhere, vintage or new doesn't matter. Goodwill and Salvation Army sometimes have the best ones. And church plates, usually white with name and sketch of church on the front. I love owls, peacocks, quails, doves. I really like vintage advertising posters, anything vintage military related. I do come from a military family and am a veteran myself so please don't send anything disrespectful or of a political persuasion I respect your opinion I just don't want that as a swap. I also just started collecting scarfs, anykind.
I really appreciate hand-made items. If you knit, crochet, paint, bead, make soap anything I'm sure I'd love it! I do enjoy beading if you make beads or have some interesting ones to swap I'd love them too. Do you spin yarn and have some to spare? Make candles? I really like anything that time, effort, care went into, don't worry if you don't think it's good, I probably will. (I am a little of a self-conscious artist myself)
